On Thursday evenings, we meet at the Bebington Civic Centre from 8pm - 10.30pm (7.30pm by prior arrangement). This is a short drive from junction 4 of the M53 or a 10 minutes walk from Port Sunlight station.  We are located in room J, right through the entrance and down the stairs.

Some of our members are competitive and have achieved success in national competitions, others come to enjoy the social aspects of the club.
We have also been involved in a number of stage productions and worked on an award winning (Nashville Film Festival 2016) film, The Violators.

We welcome fencers of all standards and attract members from around Wirral, Liverpool, Cheshire and beyond.
New members, whether experienced fencers, or total beginners are always welcome. We run several beginners course during the year.
Fencing is suitable for all, we have no upper age range!

Club nights are £6 per visit, under 18's pay £4. The club does not charge any extra, all coaching is included in this price.

We've had a very successful  2019!
Five of our younger fencers entered competitions and between them won 3 bronze, 3 silver and 3 gold. One of our fencers also took home the series winner trophy.
Well done to all!

COVID-19 (coronavirus)

We request all members to refrain from shaking hands. The ending of a bout should finish with a salute only.

The regular washing of hands is encouraged, as is the use of sanitising spray/gel/wipes (that are effective against bacteria and viruses).

The owning of a personal fencing glove is now mandatory for all members and any other fencers who may wish to fence at the club. A leather gardening glove (or similar) with a cuff to cover the sleeve, is also acceptable.
We strongly recommend that all members look to purchase a mask and a bodywire at their earliest convenience.

The typical symptoms for COVID-19 are: fever, dyspnea (difficult or laboured breathing), malaise (a general feeling of discomfort), myalgia (muscle pain), and headache.
If you are suffering from any (or a combination) of these, then please, do not attend fencing.

Instead of rigid, set dates, we offer introductory lessons throughout the year.
The course costs £24 for  four, half hour sessions

Note - Within four weeks after completing the beginner's course, you must purchase a regulation fencing glove and epee body wire. More info >>
